Celine Dion in Vegas!

Okay, I can’t lie, I’m no super fan of Celine Dion. But I recently went to her show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. I’ve gone to many Vegas shows so I have a lot to compare it against. A lot of Vegas shows are very dance and performance based, which I love, I used to be a dancer after all. But this show really isn’t like that at all. Which is refreshing in a way. I must say she did look stunning, her gowns were amazing, and her voice was beautiful. I was slightly surprised that the inside of the Colosseum wasn’t fancier. I expected the inside to look a lot more like the outside of the building, which includes a ton of molding and statues. That is until the show started. *SPOILER ALERT* She began singing and all of a sudden the curtain behind her drops and there’s a at least 25 person orchestra behind her. That was both shocking and amazing. I don’t want to give too much away but there is a water scene and a duet that you’ll have to see the show yourself to know what I’m talking about! I love how unique this show is, it’s nothing like other shows that are on the strip and of course to have a star like Celine Dion is not something usually done night after night in Vegas. Overall it’s a good show, if your a huge Celine Dion fan you’ll love it, if you have no real opinion of her (like me) you’ll like it, and if you don’t like her, well I’m not sure why you’d go. Haha. Oh and if you are a Celine Dion super fan you might be slightly disappointed in the amount of cover-songs she does, not sure what that was about.

If you’ve seen her show let me know what you thought of it!
